We are pleased to announce that due to U.S. government support we will be able to implement a new drug prevention program at Forjando Alas, and hire a new director.

Forjando Alas is lucky to have Susana García Blanco, from the Five Senses Rural Club in Bahia. A biologist by trade, Susana is an artist with a passion for environmental education and helping at-risk children. She is an international instructor for the Instituto de Biodiversidad Tropical in Costa Rica and comes to us with years of successful programs with children of Bahia.
